Sexing the Brahma breed, (standard size, Light Brahma)

Pics
@Rshumpal I can't see the pictures well (light), but yours look fluffy... or I am not seeing the feathers. Here is mine at 26 days (today), looks like she has more feathers. I am almost sure mine is a she from the sounds she makes.
Gracie looks like yours. Frankie was smaller then her at hatch and is about 2-3 days behind on the feathering. My Favorelles are about 5-6 days behind the Brahmas, and the silkies just keep getting fluffier! Everybody has leg/feet feathers at this point

Ok so this is Miyagi my sons almost 5 month old light Brahma. I know he’s not show quality etc. we love him but I’m curious as to why he still has so much fuzz! I had 2 chicks from tsc that by 8 weeks had no more fuzz. My 4 new chicks are still too young to compare (6 weeks). But why in the world does he have so much fuzz!

I also have to add he’s gotten quite a bit whiter in the last month compared to when we got him at 2.5 months. I’ll put that pic here

I just see down... not sure what your referring to. The fuzzy butt? All brahmas have that...

He hasonly feathers on the wings head front and down his legs....the rest is all fuzzy. (Down) no feathers on his back, where tail starts etc. if you look at the first set of pics I posted that are recent his feathering stops on his sides where his legs are. Is this normal? I have not seen this in any pics of brahmas I’ve seen. The other Brahma chicks I had actually had feathers on the sides etc. except for the fluffy butts.

Nope, he looks normal for his age. He's going through his juvenile molt.
