Sexing unlikely but what the heck 😁

I know there’s no tell-tell signs at this age but I thought it would be a fun venture to guess the sex of my chicks. Some on BYC have a knack. I know for sure one has to be a roo. I’m guessing two others may be as well. I want to see if anyone agrees I’m pretty sure #2 is a roo. Two of them have the dark brown “V” on the head and eyeliner. Not sure if the female rule goes for mixed breed. I want to keep one it sure would be nice to have confidence that it’s a female

Right off the bat I think 2 is obviously a cockerel and 4 is potentially as well. Update as they feather out!

Just an update on photos. No real change but want to keep updating as they grow. Took a video and got a few shots today. Five weeks, three days old. The numbers are probably not the same as my original post. The only one I’m 100% confident about is #5. Her comb development is near nil. I’d really like to keep #3, but still too early to make that decision. If it’s a he, then I’ll keep #5.

That last one that says # 4 #1 is actually #4 #2.

Side note, not of importance: one chick has five toes with two nails on the fifth toe of each foot and another chick has five toes on each foot, single nail.

Another update. I rehomed three of the five. I kept what I think are two pullets. I made the right decision.
