Hello! I am raising 8 Whiting True Blues, a new breed for me. I assumed it would take a long time to sex since they are pea comb, and my pea comb EE's took almost 3 months. However at a whopping 4.5 weeks old, most of the chicks seem drastically different in comb. Are these actual sexable pea comb differences this early? Looks to me like 4 obvious boys, 3 obvious hens, and the spotty head one is the only one I feel unsure of, but maybe a boy?
(Forgive the messy background, I'm remodeling while also having chicks in the house )
