Hello. I’m a first time poster and new to chicken keeping, so sorry if this seems obvious to others. I have been raising four chicks that were sexed as females from Murray McMurray. They are eight weeks now. One of them is a Whiting True Blue. She’s our favorite and I’m hoping she really is a she. Can anyone tell? Here are some pictures of “her” with the other chicks of the same age (she is the splash one). Thanks for any help!

Thank you guys. I look forward to learning a lot here. Can you point out what makes you think cockerel? It’s hard for me when comparing to the others since they aren’t the same breed.

At just 8 weeks old and that level of comb development and that dark a shade of red, it's pretty much a given he's a cockerel. Will you be able to keep him?
Unfortunately, not legally in my county. And the neighbors are on high alert 😅. I didn’t think I’d have a problem getting rid of one if I had to but it’s our first time and the family’s favorite because he/she is so friendly.
