Sexlink lays thin eggs

My Golden sex-link started laying very thin egg shells, as soon as she lays them they break. Last year she layed perfect beautiful brown eggs. These eggs are very light cream colored with lots of speckles. She has free-choice of oyster shell, is fed layer feed with 16% protein, and gets to range about our yard almost everyday. What do you think the problem could be?

age She is going bad. Time to replace her.

I have 14 of them that are laying and one lays an egg like that. Always has a brown spot on the wide end. The others lay thick shelled eggs.

Will be curious to hear what people have to say about this.

Really she is going into her second year of laying, didn't know they burned out that fast. She also lays a brown on the pointy end.

Mine's not even a year old and she came in the same batch with all the others. Don't think age is the reason.
