Cool Could you possibly contact your seller and ask and see where their strain of White Rock hens that they used came from or if they even know. This would be good info for others wanting to breed their own with White Rocks if they would find somewhere that has a strain that will produce sexlinks.

I'm not sure either about the inbetween chick. When I hatched my BO x BR chicks I got a few inbetweens too. Some grew up to be pullets, some grew up to be roos.

I will try and get more pictures so I can ask the seller. It might be just because I have no idea what I am looking at

I forgot to say that they sent me a little pamphlet with my eggs and they sell White Phymouth Rocks chicks and eggs. Also sell RIR and white leghorns as well as the red sex links.

I was very pleased with them. They sent me 13 eggs. 2 ended up being clear and one quitter before lockdown. The rest might have all hatched if I had had my humity right. I had lots of shrink wrapped chicks and that issue is all my fault. So the seller did really well.

I was in the process of posting this on the other thread then it closed. We have a golden comet hen named Lulu. She even loves playing with the kids. She will climb up into their play house with them to be pushed down the slide. She loves it, and keeps coming back for more! Anytime we are doing something in the backyard she is right there to help out. I mainly raise silkies, and I have to say Lulu takes the cake in family friendly personality. Love her!
Heres a pic of her strutting her stuff in the new hen house we got her
