Hmmm I deleted it off of my uploads and it deleted it off of the forum too, I didnt know it would do that, sorry about that though, I reuploaded it and fixed it. Sorry for the small pic, they dont get any bigger than that when I take them with my phone.

Oh, okay! Nice!

Did you sell her on auctions?

Yeah I just put her through a local livestock auction with two other mutt chickens and I took some ducks and a goose too. I didnt have any real use for her and I needed to cut down a few birds so she was one of the ones that went.

I LOVE my sexlinks! My neighbors have this grudge aginst them, i guess that they heard from two people that they had horrible luck with the breed. But i explained to them how they are a cross and that the lack of vigor can't be linked to the breed because they are a hybrid. I currently have two Sexlinks i love, they are in with two of my brother's show BO rooster I can't wait to see the chicks, they should be a buff columbian pattern! If anyone wants free eggs (just pay for shipping) i will send you a half dozen!

Lol. I know what ya mean! I have a little leghorn pest eating my BSL's eggs... dunno what I'm gonna do with her! Vegetarian here!! My Lily lays big eggs, but on an average week, I get 5/7 eggs from her.

Here's a few pics of some Black Sex Links that were hatched in July. My hens are Barred Rocks and my roo is a RIR mixed with some kind of bantam that had silver/blue in it. He also has feathers on his feet.

Here's one of the pullets. She turned out to be a little tee tiny thing with feathers on her feet and has the prettiest green & blue sheen to her black feathers. She also has brown around her neck.

Here's another pullet. Not sure how we got one that came out barred. She was supposed to be a he. Had the black spot on her head like the other 7 roos. But she never developed a comb or feathers like the others. She was 22 weeks Friday and her comb and wattle are just starting to grow and get bigger. So now I really waiting for her to lay to verify 100% that she is not a roo!! She acts like a pullet and has never crowed! The other 7 never stopped crowing once they learned how!!

And here are some of the roos. We processed them a couple of weeks ago.

According to Mr. Adkerson's sex-link sticky (https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261208), White Plymouth Rock hens usually don't have the correct color genes for producing sex-link chicks. WPRs often don't have the crucial recessive white gene, and sometimes are hiding the barring gene. I'll be very curious to see if you get Red Sex-Link chicks. WPRs seem like a very good dual-purpose breed, it would be neat if they could make sex-links! Best of luck to you!

Please let us know what hatches!

I will be really bummed if they don't make sex links as that is what I really want. I guess we will all find out when they hatch. I will post pictures of the hatchlings.

So they hatched yesterday. I have five chicks. Here is a group shot-

So they said the girls should be rusty colored and the boys white with grey highlights. So I think these must be girls-

And these must be boys-

This one looks kind of inbetween, don't quit fit the description as it has rust on its boby. Probably a boy because of the white head.

I'm not sure either about the inbetween chick. When I hatched my BO x BR chicks I got a few inbetweens too. Some grew up to be pullets, some grew up to be roos.
