I have just read through this entire thread and think I might have learned something lol. Still confusing with all the genes. I am glad I found out that white rocks are not the best thing to cross with a RIR roo due to the possible hidden barring? I think that is how I read it. Was planning on ordering a big order of white rock pullets but think I will now try to find some good RIW pullets instead.

But they just arent a good choice in general becuase you dont know what they ARE masking, They have to be masking something like Columbian to make red sexlinks, but they could also be masking black or partridge or something like that an that isnt going to get you sexlinks so in general its best to stay away from recessive white breeds.
