So... since sexlinks have other chicken types in their blood, would they be considered purebreed or not?

Yep.

That's one reason I like them so much! Other than being able to say I raise Dorks.

I'm not sure, but I think there's a few other breeds out there that are autosexing.

Barred Rocks and most pure barred breeds. I can anyway, they are easy to sex with at least 90% accuracy as dayolds if you know what to look for.

But if you make a sexlink cross within the same breed. Say a Black Rock rooster on Barred Rock hens, then you will get Black Rock Pullets and Barred Rock roosters. Same way with Wyandottes, Cochins, Silkies, and any breed like that that has Barred hens and Black or non barred roosters.

Or even making a red sexlink crossin the same breed. Golden Laced Wyandotted roo X Silver laced Wyandotte hens give pure Golden laced Wyandotted pullets and spilt Silver/Gold laced Wyandotte roosters.

Barred Rocks are pretty easy to sex .... yeah, I would say with 90%+ accuracy. Of course, there are always a few that will try to fool ya! LOL
