Hi all ,
I looked up if a lavender hen x barred roo is a sexlink , but the breeds in question are lavender ee x ccl . Is a ccl technically barred ? Is this cross actually a sexlink?
Thanks in advance !

A CCL is technically called a "barred" but it has the barring gene.
But no that cross won't produce sex links. It's the hen that needs to have barring bred to a rooster that doesnt.

Thanks ! What if it’s ccl x bared olive egger hen ?

doesn't.. 2 birds with barring definitely wouldn't work.
A CCL rooster has barring so he wouldn't work with any hen for sexing by headspots/barring.
