Hello!
I HAVE 6 button quails that just turned 8 weeks old and all three girls laid their first eggs today! Are these eggs fertilized? How long can I store button quail eggs, before incubating them? Of course, I should add that I have 3 males that are the same age. Not sure if they are mating successfully, but they definitely noticed the girls.

Advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

They are fully mature at 6 weeks old.I'm sure there are a few fertile eggs in there.Pheasant eggs can be stored for 15 days and then their viability drops, not sure if quail are the same or not.I wouldn't store them for more then 1 week and you need to turn them while storing them also.I have a self turner set up for storing egg so I don't forget to turn them.
You will probably have better fertility if you set them up in pairs.
