howdy! ive been on here heaps to get advice n figured id finally join. we've got chickens. 3 silkys and 3 isa browns.
theyre called "shoulder", "spike", "chocolate", "super chicken", "captain (something)" (cant remember which captain it is), and "the other one i forget" . you see, i just callem "chickerrrrrrrns, come on chickerrrrrns!!!" and i call spike by her name and the other two are just called "babieees, come on babieees", cos theyre babies. spikes bein a **** head a staunching the babies cos theyre babies. ha! 'atsall!!!.... heres shoulder and captain something.....
shoulder is orange and the captains brown n orange n black....

Isa Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links which are produced by crossing a red gene rooster with a silver gene hen. Not only can the chicks be sexed by color at hatching, but they are egg laying machines, outlaying either parent breed. It's one of the interesting quirks of hybridization. You should get lots of eggs from those girls. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

for sure. we get heaps of eggs. top shelf of the fridge door usually has 3 rows...
