shade house turned into peacock flight pen

Man, I'm so envious. They are so beautiful. My grandpa had some when I was growing up and I always loved running around the farm finding feathers, seeing peachicks, and hearing them. I hope to get a pair someday...so jealous!

Nicely done! Lucky birds is right. Trading or bartering for things is such a win-win situation

Wonderful set up! It looks great! I am hoping to do something similar but on a much, much smaller scale.

Ditto removing drool !!!

What a fabulous set up.....talk about being green with envy. My hens would have a great time in a pen like that. I imaging that the dome part was expensive to start?

I am in the nursery business so yes I had a head start, those quonset shade houses run about 2500 dollars, that one is 8 years old and was repaired once after a hurricane damaged it, so I have gotten plenty of use out of it, prior to putting the peacocks in it.
Here is Tiki the wonder heeler watching peacocks he watches them almost 24/7

Nice, nice, nice.

Now the question. Do the peacocks appreciate their flight pen? Do they actually fly around?

the get up on top of the shed and sorta half ass fly glide to the other end of the pen, and they run and sorta low fly back to the other end
