I'm rehearsing Mozart's Requiem, but I keep stopping between movements to check on her!

On Sanders misfits, I would be afraid to leave the halter on the mare. If the foal jumps on her when she is laying down, it could get it's leg caught and really get hurt.

We left Fiona's halter on when she foaled because she goes seriously psycho Mom when she has a baby and there's no way we could have held a 2000 pound draft horse while the vet tried to look over the foal without a halter already on. We took it off after the vet was there though. She's really a protective momma with her own and anybody else's baby that she can steal.
