I think she has had 3. The third one was a "preemie" and didn't make it. Although I'm not sure how a pup in a full term litter could be a preemie...

She seems to removing them? I have done two litters and I removed the pups when mom was actively pushing, but put them back after she got the new pup cleaned off.

As much as I enjoy watching everyone give birth I am really excited to see Harley give birth. How can you get attached to a goat you have not even met? But she pulls at my heart. Gotta love her.

I missed the first 3 births but am here for the 4th and already this owner is pissing me off. LEAVE THE DOG ALONE AND LET HER HAVE HER PUPPIES! The poor little thing isn't even out yet and the woman is already involved. Let mama take care of cleaning her baby and doing her job. And where are the two that lived?? Why aren't they with mama so she can concentrate on them during the rest of her labor? Shouldn't they be nursing?? GOOD GRIEF! This makes me think the poor dog is nothing more than a cash cow to her owner, and those puppies are precious $$. I'm glad I missed so much of this, I'm turning the cam off. Poor dog!

Nursing actually helps mom have stronger contractions and starts the bonding process. Also mom is quite capable of trimming the umbilical cord. That mom just wants to clean up the pup.

I understand making sure its breathing but then let mom take over.​

The owner said she is doing it so the umbilc. cords don't bleed?! She clamps them off and then puts them in an incubator, I know b/c I found her marestare chat. She has been at it all night, the one that died wasnt developed at all, it was a little blob

I feel so bad for the mama, after my son was born they took him and it was awful, I told them to give me my baby back he didnt need all the crap they were doing... I havent been able to really watch b/c she is irritating me.
