How can one puppy be a premie? I mean, I know dogs can be bred by multiple males at different times, but don't their heats only last a couple of days? So, how can one be too young to be born if the rest are ready?

If one puppy does not develop right, it probably would have been rejected or aborted. Probably didn't get the nutrition from the umbilical cord or crowded by other siblings. Too many factors can cause delayed developments of the pup.

She said one puppy (a boy) was hardly developed at all. She didn't say if Madison was spayed, but I would think so. The vet did the C-section right at her house!

Man, I love my full size goats, can get a whole hand in there, push them all the way back in and pull out what part ya want if you have to!
