The mean old vet must have not let her eat look at her chowing down.

I am kidding about the vet being mean. She is going to give everyone a heartattack. LOL

I think that Harley has a call in to the Guiness Book of World Records. She wants the longest gestation recorded for a goat, and failing that; the highest number of silly humans driven crazy in a single two week period.

what about the most amount of Hay eating in a single sitting...LOL....

WHEW that was not fun.... had to lay her on her side and hold her down... cried the entire time

got all the gunk out and scrubbed it pretty good, the vet put something in it... the consistancy of neosporin but the color of pennicillan into it so there is going to be some discharge.

we ticked her off pretty bad. the vet didnt check her as he feels she is with in 24 hours ( i of course laughed at him LOL) the plan is to wait it out the weekend, monday if she isnt in active labor or she hasnt kidded, i will induce her.

she is 158 days today. the longest she has ever gone. vet bet me 5 bucks a kid that they are all boys LOL

im sure if i really sweet talked the vet he wouldnt mind being on cam.. but the main reason that i shut it off was because i also didnt want to upset anyone with laying her down to get her to be still..

thanks all, we should know what type of infection in the next few days, vet also gave a penicillan bolus ...

of course she is now back to eating. LOL

i am going to try to get around the sore clipped later today, maybe when she is eating her grain...

sigh my poor baby!

glad all is well Becca. too bad for the infection...she will heal up in no time...hope the vet is wrong on all boys unless that is what you want. but as long as they are healthy right?

good luck with the clipping :-)

Prayers are with you and Harley. You must have an awesome vet. She probably will go and have the babies this weekend. Because I have to build my new goat a house and put a fence up for her. It is going to be a long weekend. LOL She will go this weekend.
