I hate to say it, but "I'm relieved she hasn't foaled yet." I've been watching for daysssssssss and I couldn't check in last night at all, and I was sure I would check this morning and she would have a fluffy foal standing beside her. Thanks for waited Lacey! UUUh....now you go ahead and have your foal.

I doubt she will hold on this long - but the 19th is not only a full moon but a "supermoon". It will be the closet to earth than it has been in 18 years, besides being full. Might do some whacky things with the earth and animals...

last year was fun...

it went like this

Twitch - was in the stall for 3 days, on the 4th morning at 8am had a grey colt (the one in my avatar) kept them in for 2 days

then missy got close... twitch and dash out in the foal pen....

missy in stall for 2 days foaled at 4 am chestnut pintalossa filly

she was in for 2 days
then fancy got close. fancy was in the stall for 24 hours and had a black filly at 2am

GAHH lol
that was busy!
haha!

we have a mare due in april (twitch) and possible 2 in may

So I have some chicks hatching to keep me amused while we wait for Lacey to foal. Problem is the two 8 month old puppies think I am hatching them a snack.

Good thing they can't reach the incubator...
