we braid all our mares tails a week or so before foaling.. then when they are in labor we wrap the top.. especially helps when they have white in their tail.. so we dont mistake tail for a foot or a amniotic sack! lol

That goat hasn't looked happy for at least a week. I hope she kids today, poor baby.

Is it common for them to vocalize that much when in labor? I don't remember our goats doing that when they'd be in labor.
