Shadowpaints Foaling/kidding thread!!Twitch colt 7/9

This will be tricky!! we have 4 mares due in the next 30 days!!! and one stall, so its time for musical stalls! who's ever bag is bigger, and has other signs will be the one in the stall for the night. which means there could be a different horse in the stall each nite.. i know crazy!

lets do some discriptions

First is Casey(Due 4/21 320 date), a 37 inch tall, 18 year old Silver dapple pinto mare. some of you may remember her from a few years back when we thought she was bred, but turned out to be open. Casey is a mare i rescued 6 years ago, she has a bad foot and the further along she is she gets a bit sore she is not overly friendly either!! when she foaled for me 5 years ago, she went 364 days from the day i picked her up and had a healthy silver dapple filly. Casey is bred to our senior stallion 'Mountian meadows Ds super tramp' tramp is a 32 inch black and white tobiano stallion.



Second we have 'Tanner' (due 4/30 320 date)a 37 inch Black, 10 year old mare (her dad is Tramp!) she has not foaled for us ever! we have tried 3 years to get her in foal and finally succeded!! YAY! she is bred to our 31 inch palomino pinto stallion, 'sierra golds kiwi cash' Cash is the sire to , tia (laceys filly from last year), laceys colt from this year, and twitch's colts Dash and Spinner from 2010 and 2011

Third we have Angel (due 5/2 320 date) Angel is a 35 inch bay roan 5 year old mare with appy characteristics, and a white stare on her forhead. she is a MAIDEN . she is also bred to cash!

Fourth- we have Missy (due 5/3 320 date) a blue roan 37 inch tall 12 year old mare. Missy is Angels Dam, and missy had Ava in 2010. Missy is bred to Tramp.

I do not expect any of these guys to foal on their 320 date. i expect closer to their 330 or so.
there will only be a mare in the stall at NIGHT unless some one is SUPER close, or has a really good bag.


Remember- Our barn our rules! We assist with EVERY foaling and kidding. We also keep the camera on unless the vet comes, then we turn it off. If you don’t like the way we do things please remember you don’t have to watch!

I just looked through your website... and must say... All your horses are stunning! If I didn't know they were miniatures, and if there were no 4 foot cattle panels to show their height, I would have honestly believed they were normal sized horses. I love that picture of Angel running in the paddock. Gorgeous!

It always is hahaha! My mare foaled but ive only uploaded one pic so far because of the new baby & all of the Easter craziness lol. Then of course there is the regular stuff as well xD.

I just looked through your website... and must say... All your horses are stunning!
