Shadows on the Dawn *A Warrior Cat RP*

A mixture of cheese and sweet. :D

Elkheart smiled at Ravenwhisper, the got quietly up. He tiptoed around the slumbering warriors and stepped into the dawn. "This way" He whispered to Ravenwhisper and he padded forward into the forest by Ravebwhisper's side. He stopped as they came to a cliff. In the distance, hills framed the rising sun. Elkheart breathed out slowly. "Isn't it beautiful?" He murmured quietly as he sat down.
“Yes,” she breathed out, “it is beautiful...”

There were so many things Ravenwhisper wanted to tell him, and yet..... she just didn’t feel like she could. The sunlight shone warmly off her midnight fur as she gazed at the horizon, deep in thought.

Elkheart looked at her with his kind eyes. "Whats on your mind?" He asked her gently, his pelt brushing hers.

Then worry shadowed his gaze.
"I am sorry if you didn't--i'm sorry if I--well, did you want to have kits?" He asked, distressed.

“Of course!.... I mean I thought eventually...... I just didn’t expect to have kits so soon.” She mewed, trying to find the right words; happy wasn’t the right word, she was overjoyed... “I’m just afraid... afraid I’ll mess up somehow,” she began, finally letting out what she’d been thinking ever since it was confirmed, “these kits entire life depends on me now....”

Elkheart twined his tail around hers. "Don't worry." He assured her. "Ill help you. You didn't think i'd leave you to raise them all by yourself now, did you?" He purred.

“No, I didn’t,” She mewed, “you’ll make a great father, Elkheart.” She pressed her forehead under his chin, a soft purr echoing from her throat.
