Moonpaw’s head snapped up as she scented Flameclan on the wind. She observed Blackpine as he parted his jaws drinking in the scent. “Follow me.” He mewed. They reached the border, and found Meadowsong facing a hostile patrol of Flameclan cats. Blackpine, easily bigger than all the other cats, took a calm, threatening step forward, a low growl in his throat.
