Meadowsong got up. "I would." Her voice shook. "This is Blackpine of Stormclan, and I told him to meet me here tonight." She wanted to protect Blackpine. "He has not crossed into our territory, so you have no accusations against him"

Cloudfall looked at the wound on Meadowsong. "We need to take you to Emeraldheart," she mewed briskly. "Then Sparrowstar. This is something he needs to decide." She gave Jadestone a warning glance, making sure Jadestone knew that this time she meant business.
