Ravenwhisper's paws led her to a small clearing, where a comfortable beam of sun reached in the afternoon. She sat back on her hind legs, while neatly tucking her tail around her forepaws, the way she always did when she needed to think. The sun made her jet black fur shimmer. Elkheart's voice brought her back to earth somewhat, and she mewed absently, "Nowhere in particular."

Elkheart decided against debating about Meadowsong. She clearly already had something on her mind. So he quietly padded up and sat down a little ways away from her.
