Shadrach's Ex Battery and Rescued chickens thread.

I like classical music but not on the stereo. Two channel playback just doesn't do it justice. I used to go to a lot of classical performances.
Favorite composers and pieces?
It wasn't until starting a homestead in middle age that I fell headlong into an existential struggle of what it means to be human and how to forgive myself for it.
Well, I had several comments/reactions to this, and now that I'm trying to type, the words just fall dead on the page. I'm still working on this myself.

Phew, that's more like it. I listen to them on the stereo from time to time.
My grungy Gen X is showing. I really enjoy music from the 1960s, but having been weaned on gritty stuff like Guns 'n Roses, Metallica, the Clash, Bad Brains, Fugazi, Public Enemy, Rage Against the Machine, etc -- with the mosh pit scars and bruises to go with it -- the 1980s and early 90s are my music "home." Where did all that angst go?

I'm pretty sure the members of Wu Tang are getting on themselves by now 😁
I was going to say this, too. Wu-tang formed in '92... the children have no idea who they are and are probably too busy hotboxing tiktoks or snorting fortnight memes or whatever the heck they do these days.

Here's our head roo, Johnny Cashew, for tax.
