Got the butchering done very quickly this morning, hubby got his mowing done too. Put out some cover for hawks, and now we wait to see if they feel like coming out.

Visby is trying to crow; sounds like someone scraping their nails down a blackboard [it occurs to me that that might not mean anything to the younger generations here; think 'horrible sound' ]. He'll be 14 weeks old tomorrow.

When we had our first rooster attempt at crowing, I honestly thought a cat had been hit by a car and was giving its death wail.

Blurr (Whiskey in the background did, but not as intently) started to climb onto my leg.

Belladonna tasted my shirt

Tuff observed then did his own inspection.

Meanwhile, the junior crew...
