Time For Gregg

Since I last saw him he's finished his moult, started growing his spurs, and he's gotten bigger; approaching Australorp sizes. Still a sweetheart though

It's hard to get candid/non front-facing shots of him since he's always on the hunt for treats, but I snagged a couple

I'm pleased to say that he seems to be finding his place here socially. Less chasing hens, more herding. The hens no longer avoid him and I didn't see any of the dominant roosters administer a beatdown while I was there.

Any idea what Glais is like when you're not there?

Not really. If things were that bad between Glais and the hens I think one would see it in how the hens are when out with him.

Has he been any less polite lately, so they're worried about him chasing them?

Not that I've seen. I would say he's improving in his courtship. Mow and Glais know when he wants to mate before he gets close enough to grab them. They just move away but at other times they're quite happy to be close. I've yet to see him chase either Mow or Sylph.
