Another day (yesterday) with lots of time out of the coop run. It was sunny but a little bit chilly late afternoon.

About eight to ten eggs a day currently. Three of the Legbars are laying so only five or six of the Ex Battery hens are laying. I'm good with that. The fewer eggs the happier I am apart from the sad fact that once they stop laying it isn't long before they develope reproductive problems.Are they laying well now Shad? Mine have really kicked into gear!
they are indeed, and it's clear to seethey are getting at least some semblance of a decent life now
