Thank you.Oh Marie she is lovely!
It's the weather for lice and mitesI've got another sick looking hen now. She was clean when I checked her last week, now she has lice and mites. I've treated her but it isn't a good sign.

I tried to pull back the seam in the feed bag to get a better pic but the label ripped off instead. Here’s the manufacturer’s website. The full ingredient list is at the bottom of the page.sorry, can I have another photo of the second one that shows the ingredients in full; this one is missing the right edge.
I get the impression Penny that opinions on different commercial feeds are as various and as ardent as are those on non-commercial feeds and 'treats'!I have never liked anything by purina would never use their products JMHO
Thanks. I'll try to remember to do that when I pdf the updated version. No problem here. All on one page or field legends for each page would be handy.
huh? now I'm lost tooI may have missed the purpose of this? My appologies if you've explained elsewhere.
they're lovely. Dare I ask what you feed them?View attachment 3204552View attachment 3204552These are two of my “never batts” Maggie in the foreground and Hazel behind. Last summer Maggie molted. She ended up with a glorious load of feathers but hasn’t laid an egg in almost a year. She squats and appears to be fertile but doesn’t go to the nest box unless it’s to throw someone else out. She thinks she owns the coop, it’s so strange. If she hears something in there she will run back in to sort it out.
My three red sex link hens are 2 1/2 years old. Maggie quit laying last summer. Hazel is molting now but was laying almost daily since she was 6 months old. Peggy Sue is the smallest and the noisiest, she is still laying almost daily. This morning’s egg was 97 grams. I feel sorry for her but she seems to be happy and pops those eggs out without complaint. I owe lots of tax!
I could do, but I can't help thinking that the bigger a spreadsheet gets, the more unwieldy and user unfriendly it gets. I'm happy to share the excel file with any who want it to do what they want with it; pm me your email address and I'll send it along, whoever you are. What about asking Kiki to add the info from the excel you made to her spreadsheet?
