I just put on whatever music that I am in the mood for and belt it out.Good for you!
I'd love to have a choir to sing in again. Singing is SO good for you! Physically and mentally.

Same here for a couple of years now.Way overdue tax!
We decided to forget about growing vegetables in the beds this year - too much stuff going on. So we are literally giving them to the birds.

Get eating, girls!!
If loved to see the last one on the next years calendar. The ‘contest’ to contribute is open.Thank you. She's a speckled sack of sass. As a chick, she flared her hackles like that so often that I thought she may be a cockerel.
She marches to her own beat and takes a pretty picture. Tax tax tax.

Thank you! I always liked the colors in this photo, and the little bug in her beak. This was one of the 4 photos I entered in 2023. That year, a photo of Mr. Merle was chosen instead. If loved to see the last one on the next years calendar. The ‘contest’ to contribute is open.
your lupins and peonies are at least 2-3 weeks ahead of mine; I guess that is the result of the cold wet Feb and March here, given we're on essentially the same latitude...Four hours yesterday. Warmish with some sunshine.
Still busy.View attachment 4118872View attachment 4118873View attachment 4118874View attachment 4118875
Best singing there is!I just put on whatever music that I am in the mood for and belt it out.I haven't been in a choir/chorus since high school.
I was thinking of you two being right across the Bristol Channel from one another, but I see that you’re quite a ways west.your lupins and peonies are at least 2-3 weeks ahead of mine; I guess that is the result of the cold wet Feb and March here, given we're on essentially the same latitude...
I bought a used Pixel 6 and it takes pretty good photos almost instantly. Costs me around USD $220 for one with 256GB of storage. A custom ROM can expand the life in the future when official support gets dropped. These pictures have had the colour washed out and the vibrancy, for want of a better word. I think i'm in that ghastly position of having to choose between a better camera or a much better camrea on a mobile phone.
My eldest takes some great pictures on her mobile phone; at close to ten times the price it bloody well better. We've taken similar shots in similar conditions and mine look pretty poor in comparison.
I'm not a wait for a shot type of photographer. On a day to day basis I just want to take snaps. The thread is a diary of sorts. But, I would still like better quality pictures. Funnily enough, I don't want to spend much money, particulaly on a mobile phone, which I detest, and will resent more deeply than the cheap, six year old mobile phone that follows me about now.
Three hours today. Still busy making slow progress.
There are some plants in an old plot that the previous person said I could take and now someone want's the plot so I need to move them quickly.
I moved five fennel plants earlier this week and they are struggling but haven't died yet.
Fret's spurs are growing. She's always had a bit of a spur on one leg which is now quite long and the other leg has over a quarter of an inch.
In the extended run.
