Microsoft has gotten really pushy with things that they don't want you to turn off. :-( We recommend that our customers turn off updates so they can control when they get pushed through, to allow them to test them thoroughly and roll back if there is an issue, but Microsoft still pushes some updates through.

By the line modification, are you referring to the Registry Edit?

Yeah. The registry edit didn't change the lock screen stuff at all.

Perfectly timed irl conversation this morning. A few people came up to see the chickens (they have busier social lives than I do!), so I brought a couple of the tamer birds over to say hi and sent the little kids down to pick grapes in the polytunnel to feed the chooks. We're chatting away and one woman I know to say hi to, turns to her friends and goes "he takes them on the bus you know!" Had to clarify that I don't just take them on trips for the fun of it.

One and a half hours today. Buses delayed/cancelled.
It stayed dry and a tad warmer then yesterday.
The eldest has just got back from a charity cycle ride from Bristol to Paris. They did it in three days.

I have been pretty busy lately and that isn't changing anytime soon. I will try to keep up as much as possible, but some people might get "spammed" with reactions .
I do love reading about the Glais exhange! I think it's lovely something like that is possible because of this site.

Anyways I do have pics of my 3 month old Ayam Cemani mixes.

Two hours. It stayed dry and reasonably warm early afternoon.

Left the field to go to a bit of a do with the family celebrating the eldest cycle to France.
These pictures are of Bristol harbourside just outside the place we had booked for the evening.

I drank two Talisker single malts, got home at 11pm and went to bed. Slept like a log.
