Two hours today. It's getting cold out there! I don't know where the time goes. Did about half of what I planned to.
Good news about the rat. It hasn't tried to chew through anywhere else yet.

@Shadrach I'm new to your thread. And I’m also too lazy to go back thousands of posts to find out the breed of that grey hen. Can you tell me the breed of the grey hen on the right of the juicy white hen? She’s a beaut! Also the last picture..is that a coop? A nesting area?? It looks perfectly cozy for my broodies.

Skipped Symphony Chorus rehearsal b/c I’m exhausted getting my mother transferred to a nursing home. We have about an hour fifteen before dusk, so I’m just enjoying the chickens and a glass or three of Pinot Grigio.

My mother has Alzheimers, stepfather is on hospice, and stepmother is frail but thinks she's Superwoman. The chickens are my therapy.
