I agree.Halloween has totally confused me this year - there were little kids out trick or treating (which is a foreign tradition and not what they should be doing in my opinion, but anyway...) earlier this week. Not sure if that was to fit in around some event on the night itself, or the weather, or what.
Guy Fawks Day has undergone the same fate. It seems to have spread over a couple of weeks. Worse still, it's being called bonfire night a lot.
Ruins the history of the day in my opinion.

but that's mostly down to a combination of the weather and me not being organised enough to arrange anything sooner.
