Shakes the magic 8 ball (Will they be mottled?)

My rooster is split mottled so are two of the hens with him the other two are speckled sussex. Now I hatched 13/16 eggs according to the mottling chart I have a 1 out of 4 chances of getting a mottled chick so if thats 1/4 and I hatched 13 thats 4/13 chicks that in theory should be mottled if it was the speckled sussex eggs they would be half and half they werent laying then

now this is just a few of them heres flight feathers of one of the silver ones

all of these chicks are feathering in slowly aswell.but incase none are mottled I did set 7 more so in a few weeks I'll know if there is any mottled or not.

None of those birds look "mottled" except for the SSs.

Watch for a white belly. Some maybe mottled.

They are split to mottled so they wouldnt look visual mottled

I don't know much about genetics, but I'm just curious. Are they mixes or something?

The patterning gene crossed with another bird can result in some sort of a lacing pattern.
