I don't know if they will be mottled, but some are sex linked. One of the hens is silver and your rooster is gold, so female chicks from that pair will be gold and males will be silver. All the ones with silver faces are male.

Also LOVE THE AVATAR!My rooster is split mottled so are two of the hens with him the other two are speckled sussex. Now I hatched 13/16 eggs according to the mottling chart I have a 1 out of 4 chances of getting a mottled chick so if thats 1/4 and I hatched 13 thats 4/13 chicks that in theory should be mottled if it was the speckled sussex eggs they would be half and half they werent laying then
