I've got some meat birds that are about a week and a half old. All are doing great, but one seems to be very shakey on his legs. He walks around just fine, but has his little wings down and out like he's trying to balance. He can stand up straight, but seems to tremble all the time.
I know meaties are notorious for leg problems, but these are still on chick feed and not growing out of control. Is there anything i can do to help him? Will the band-aid trick for spraddle leg help give support for his little legs? Or do I just watch and wait and hope he is okay. They went out in the grass for the first time this afternoon--all afternoon. I know the exercise in the grass does them good.
Thanks in advance for any help!
