Shaking chicken.

Advice, please! I have one barred Rock chicken that shakes. Constantly! Started when it was one week old. It is now three months old. Other than that, it is a healthy, happy bird. Any ideas?

Where did your chick come from? Are there others in there with it? Is anyone else experiencing these symptoms?

Thanks for the reply and the link. The chick was bought at our local feed store. They get them from the "Ideal" hatchery in Texas. We bought 20 assorted birds. "Shakey" is the only one affected. I would have culled her a while ago, but she seems happy and (otherwise) healthy.

I'm glad she's not otherwise bothered by it.

I'd also try adding some vitamins to the water to see if a deficiency is causing it.
