So, I am also in love with houseplants and have watched a lot of Summer Rayne’s YouTube videos on plants. Summer lives in Brooklyn but had a rescue chicken named Kippee living with her until Kippee sadly and suddenly died. Summer has a chicken planter in her videos, in memory of Kippee now, and folks asked where she got it. She said on Etsy. I searched and found hers but also found one I liked better from Ann’s pottery in OR. Ann is a teacher and artist selling her pottery on Etsy. I had to ask for a custom order of Guinea planters, instead of chicken planter, of course, and yiiippeee-yeah!!! I got my wish!

So, order something! Get yourself a treat to cheer up your days for years to come, stimulate the economy and all that Jazz, and support Ann and her small business on Etsy! Get your very own whimsical Chicken planter for a little joy in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or living area: a houseplant in a chicken planter! 😊

Some recommended easy plants for beginners and a chicken planter: chlorophytum comosum (spider plant – may look like a rooster tail in the planter!), tradescantia (inch plant), peperomia prostrata (string of turtles), gasteria (a succulent that grows slowly and grows pups to share), echeveria (many varieties to choose from), sempervivum (hen and chicks, ha ha) – get them on Etsy, ebay, or even big box stores like Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, or local grocery or nursery stores.
