Shanking his head

I was down at my dads today and i saw his rooster shaking his head like someone would if they had water in their ears. is that normal or could there be something wrong with him

Mine use to do that if he was aggitated by someone new around or one of the hens yelped. I belive it is very normal. gloria Jean

Yep, that sounds like pretty normal stuff. My chickens will do it if they've been eating and a piece of food has gotten stuck in an awkward spot.
