Cody woke up and stretched his arms. The sun was just starting to peek over the horizon, spreading its warm orange glow throughout the forest. He threw on some jeans and a t-shirt and went outside, almost bumping into Casey. Casey was bending down to stroke her pet dutch/OEGB chicken cross named Kiki, and she blinked a bit as she felt the bird's DNA rush into her bones. The feeling was hard to describe, but it was very strange.

And then, she began to shift forms. She shrunk down to Kiki's size, and sprouted feathers. She grew a cute gray little beak, and her toes squished together, before they split into the three toes of a bird. Her fingers turned into feathers, and her arms folded against her back as they turned into wings. She looked up at Cody, and spoke to him telepathically, "You weren't expecting me to shift forms, were you?"

Cody grinned. "Nope."

"I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to this."

"Come on, let's go wake everyone else up." Casey hopped up onto Cody's shoulder like a parrot as he started walking towards the other cabins.

Jackie was up and checking her supplies as she did every morning before going to breakfast. She glanced out the window to see Cody with a chicken on his shoulder.

Seth was awake and exercising in his room. When he finished he went to get a quick shower before heading to get breakfast.

Dakota sat on a post as a golden eagle. She watched Cody and Casey with eagle eyes.

(They're in the mountains. It's a small village, if you will; they have three or four "major" buildings, such as the Med Bay, mess hall, etc. and they all live in cabins.)

Nikki bounced away, and went off somewhere into the woods. When she returned a couple minutes later, she was a large black shape; a gryphon. She unfurled her wings and flew off to her horse pen to feed her horses and chickens their breakfast.
