I have just been setting the candler down on 1 or 2 every few days, that way I don't have to try so hard not too. I get to satistfy my curiosity, I don't touch the eggs so bacterial contamination is minimal, I don't have to admit that I candled, and temps are back up in 5 minutes! Win-win-win!!

Aw so adorable look at those tiny little feet with the pink tips my chicks are going to be going out side if they don't shut up

my 3 older ones almost 3 weeks old just joined the 3&1/2 week olds outside because they almost trampled one of my bantams. So tiny and scared. I hope she's ok. Didn't see any injuries but she was knocked over and walked on.
