Oh my goodness, before I even read in the blue line, I thought, I bet it's a Harlequin. I hatched those once. They grow up to be the prettiest duck..I think. But I've seen other pretty ones now. I just had to try hatching ducklings. Not the easiest to do either. But I got a few to hatch..they were very easy to sell. Can't have ducks here. :/
Here is a photo of them when they were so tiny and cute. I didn't get to see them grown up. The girl even has some blue in her wings, very pretty ducks.

You should. Did you know that farmers would put a fainting goat in amongst more important livestock like sheep and even young cows? That way if a preditor attacked the herd the goat would "faint" presenting an easy target while the more important animals got away.
