Share about recent or expected rabbit kindling?

I think I might try and breed my two bunnies together this winter, since I have now moved them into the garage. I will do some more research first though.

They grow fur really fast, so you can move them outside then
 
Also, does the nest box have to be a special 'rabbit nest box' or can I use something else? I have wooden, lid-less box that could use. What nest material do you use?

No, no, no... Any box will do! As long as the doe can't tip it over. I lost a litter that way :(
 
It depends on the weathet in your area and your facilities. I have seen exposure take new born kits at just under 50* F. I live in Texas, and still have momma and babies indoors under a heat lamp.
x2 - kits are easily chilled. I have my does kindle indoors year round so I can ensure proper temperatures and as few stressors as possible.
