That sounds goodI think I might try and breed my two bunnies together this winter, since I have now moved them into the garage. I will do some more research first though.

I've got two does due to kindle in another couple weeks. By the time that they will be weaned and ready for pasture, it will be spring here.
No, no, no... Any box will do! As long as the doe can't tip it over. I lost a litter that wayAlso, does the nest box have to be a special 'rabbit nest box' or can I use something else? I have wooden, lid-less box that could use. What nest material do you use?
(P.S. Thanks for answering all of my questions)
Oh it will be raining, I'm in the Pacific Northwest. It's always raining. But we should be past any potential freezing temps.Lucky you- I'm stuck in the English rain for anouther 3 months....
...would I be better waiting until spring?
x2 - kits are easily chilled. I have my does kindle indoors year round so I can ensure proper temperatures and as few stressors as possible. It depends on the weathet in your area and your facilities. I have seen exposure take new born kits at just under 50* F. I live in Texas, and still have momma and babies indoors under a heat lamp.
