Okay here's a couple

I have this 'thing' with gravel roads. We have a few of those where we are.

. I took our little Repecka out for a photo shoot today. She's 2 1/2 weeks old.

We have to go these meetings for Ken's fraternity regularly. This is one of the areas of Wyoming we drive through when his meetings are in Jackson or Pinedale. <sigh> It's a tough life, but somebody has to do it.

I love when I get to see wildlife up-close. This doe was in our backyard.

I love seeing the bald eagles too!

Loved that shot of the deer, Bridebeliever! Here the Big Horn Sheep are moving down this time of year.








And here's a buck wondering why the heck "buck" is spelled wrong on the sign.

Blooie in your first photo those bushes/trees just seem to glow like gold - do you know what kind them are? The only views I get out the picture window is of all the junk the neighbors across the field, have piled up around their shed and trailer- so THEY don't have to see it.

Thanks. Those are just good ole cottonwoods. That area is full of them. I'm highly allergic to them when the pollen starts up, but once the cotton from them starts flying the allergies lessen up considerably. In the photo the sun found a break in the clouds and one lone, long sunbeam kissed just that strip of trees. I was supposed to be watching for deer - but I was mesmerized by the glow from those trees. I stared and snapped pictures with my little Hero cell phone until the clouds closed back up over the sunbeam. That spot was so pretty, and the sun was so intense on that grove of trees that even with the technology on my 2006 cell phone every shot came out looking this intense. I can't even imagine what I could have captured if I'd had a real camera with me that day.
