here's our young rooster, Grub. He's a silkie mix of some sort and just starting to colour out nicely!

 
This is our Blue Jersey Giant Roo, Jersey. He is an aggressive guy, but takes great care of his hens. He is a big guy.

Roosters Roosters Roosters ...... my hens won't let my rooster in the pen. i have had him for about 4 week now. he Is in a large cage next to pen so the girls can see him and he can see the girls. i put him in the pen for a supervised visit by me. they run chase peck him its quite sad but i leave him in as long as i can handle. i put him in just now. so far so good every now and then they chase and peck him but its getting beta.

  • you probably have a female in there that thinks she is male. happens when you have a all female flock..

French Copper Blue Marans. This strain has been improved over the years by selective breeding and a full grown Rooster will weigh around 12lbs.I use them as a dual purpose breed.
