Next time I'm going to know all this before i start! I haven't seen the eggs wobbling so much that past 24 hours, is that normal? I can, however, hear some faint tweeting this morning! Today is day 21, still no external piping yet.....

i like them too i think when i hatch eggs from now on all of my eggs will have one side with smiley faces. I originally did that because the x and o started looking to much alike when i was in school.

We are hatching for the first time. On day 14. Hoping to take some canceling pics tonight. When they go in lockdown on day 18 do I decrease the temp? We have been set at 100F since the beginning. Thanks!

not that i know of but you need to increse the humdity

My eggs are hatching!! One is out and the others are coming! I can't believe my light bulb sellotaped in a cupboard has actually worked!! Hopefully the rest will all hatch, they are pipping and wobbling and chirping - all except one, but the first one that hatched was one that i thought wasn't wobbling, so hopefully it's going to hatch too!

YAY!! I'm still waiting for a pip

but if nothing happens tomarro i'll do assited hatches with them to see if i can get some ducklings the day after

just remember don't move the chick or open the incubator until the chick is dry

For lock down decrease the temp by a few degrees and increase the humidity


Days 19 & 20 temp should be between 97.7 - 98.8 F
Days 21 + temp should be between 96.8 - 97.7 F
