More photos of my Khakis enjoying the snowy weather. Here they are foraging below the pond outlet.

Beautiful.

Here are some of mine.

My muscovy drake. The duck is currently breeding and I did not want to disturb her on her nest so no pictures of her so far.

My runner duck and drake. They are too heavy to be exhibition birds, but I really don't care...

Very pretty ducks, but i think you meant Rouen not Runner. your Scovie drake looks alot like mine.

Thanks

I also like the photos of your birds :)

These two were sold to me as Runners, although they are too heavy to be pure. But they are too slim and erect to be Rouen, either. Where I live, Rouens are much larger and keep their body completely horizontal.

I really love my Scovie drake, altough all in my family say that he is ugly and my sister is scared of him

Thats true about the Rouen they have short stocky bodies and their legs are real short too. Actually they make me think of Dewlap Toulouse geese except in a much smaller form. LOL I think Scovies are beautiful, My grandchildren are scared of my drakes. and my drakes are really sweet.

I also think that Scovies are beautiful birds, I love their odd looks and their friendly charakter. But I have learned to respect their claws. I have more than one scar on my hands from them

And before anyone complains about too much text in a picture thread, here are some (quite) old ones:

My Muscovies at three weeks old. They had just arrived that day. The duckling at the front is the drake.

My couple of Hookbills. Sadly both of them died last year for unknown reasons, the drake in march and the duck in early october.

Pekin x Hookbill cross.
