I love to watch when my dominant rooster lets his feathers down enough to dust bathe with his favorite hen. That's chicken bliss for the Protector, when he can go off-duty for a good flap in the dirt with his favorite lady!

They were having a lovely time until the New Boss came over. I lost my lovely and huge alpha male Dark Brahma last week and this little upstart has taken over the slot....

Came over , crowed a few times, then wing danced them out of the dust bath.
