For the last few years I have try to share most of the thing i have learned with birds ,mostly about peafowl. First I know my way is not the only way. It has been what has worked for me.

I have try to correct wrong info when i see other post it. Nothing wrong when people disagree with each other.

Seem lately I a'm getting in more and more, I really don't want to upset anyone...but looks like i have away of doing that lately.

I have alot bigger battle to fight, rather than little arguments that I have been getting into on this forum.

Anyway I'm backing off of the forum.........like a few have said i have been trying to control this section, which I have try not to do.

Lot of good peafowl breeders on here with good info.........heck i'm even down to only 4 birds.

No no no Burt, I don't think you should back away, your peafowl knowledge is WAY too invaluable to a lot of us that read and post here. We that constantly follow your posts know where your best interests lay and would not say you are trying to control this forum, but are here to HELP others! If some are offended by you/your posts, then that's their issue, not yours. Regardless of you only having 4 birds right now, your experience and advice that you give all of us that need it speaks for itself, loud and clear.

Everybody is free to voice their experiences, opinions and knowledge here... and not everyone has to agree with each other. I tend to think a lot of readers that look to this forum for Peafowl knowledge and advice will take a little here and a little there that applies to their own birds/flocks, and leave the rest (myself included).

I so do understand you not needing the aggrivation from tiffs and disagreements with all else you have going on in your life tho, but I am hoping you don't completely back away from this forum and will still be available to offer advice and answers that others can't or do not care to provide solutions to. A short break may clear your mind and re-center yourself, but please do NOT stay gone from this forum long!!!

Breathe in, breathe out and be well

I'm just a small backyard peafowl keeper that I keep mainly for my enjoyment. I do hatch and sell a few to help with the feed bill. I have enjoyed reading your posts and have found them very informative. I also appreciate wrong information being corrected. I know people sometimes don't always agree, but I even like to read both ideas and judge for myself which makes the most sense.

Best of luck with your health issues.

I'm no peafowl breeder, but we're in the same boat in a sense. I don't like to come off as controlling, or harsh; but feel like I do sometimes as I am the same way regarding chickens (especially games) where I tend to correct false information though not in ill intent. Not everyone will take kindly to it, if it helps though, I say think about other people who may be googling some thing and happen upon your post. Your post could help them, even if you never knew about it.

I guess that is what I like about the internet, though the people I talk directly to may not enjoy my information. I think of the possibilities of of the other 110,000 (about) people that may read the thread, or even the people who could be reading it VIA Google.

God bless,
Daniel.

People like me need people like you willing to answer the sometime dumb questions we ask and need answers too. Please don't back too far off.

Dont let them get to you, really you should do what you like to do. and that is obviously educate people on this forum about peafowl. I know i have gotten countless tips and alot more involved with peas because of you. I have the bug now and my numbers are climbing fast, nevermind hatching season comming up. You should hang on to your last 4, they are good omens

I've never ever felt you were trying to control any of the topics..... or telling your way was only way. Other people will have different opinions, and ya can't please everyone... but many many of us here learn from you and are grateful for your knowledge. Forget those who get offended, and focus on those who truly appreciate and need your help.

I wish you'd write a book about your life with peafowl, so I wouldn't have to keep bugging you with all my silly questions..... and one day may actually get peafowl colors down..

I know I often get feelings hurt when i try to help out in various other threads and people seem to blow off my advice......I feel like logging off for awhile, heck I was gone a month or so and no one noticed... but then I get that one email, ....from someone I helped , thanking me.... then I realize it mattered to that person.

Ya got to check in cause i need a question answered once in a while and ya know sometimes it may take more than one person to fully answer it so my mixed up brain comprehends it.

We" love ya man " so don't be runnig off nowhere.

You are my peacock mentor & I wish I could just sit & tape record you talking about them, because you have forgotten more than most people will ever know.

Go fight your bigger battle. We are with you in spirit.
